How to use

How to use this site

A quick walkthrough of everything you can do here, from reading messages to leaving your own.

1. Find a place

Scan the QR code on the plaque at a sculpture, or browse every place from the home page or the map view. Each place shows how many approved messages have been left there.

2. Read the messages

Open any place to read its messages, newest first. You can search within a place, sort by oldest or A–Z, and open the photo-wall gallery to see every photo shared there. No account is needed to read.

3. Create a free account

To leave your own message you'll need to register with your name, email, and a password. We send a verification link to your email — click it to activate your account before signing in.

4. Leave your message

Once signed in, open a place and tap "Leave your message here." Write your message, optionally add a display name (or stay anonymous), and attach at least one photo. A moderator reviews every submission before it appears publicly.

5. Manage your submissions

"My messages" lists everything you've submitted and its status (pending, approved, or rejected, with a moderator's note if rejected). From there you can edit the text, add or remove photos, or delete a message entirely. Editing sends it back for review before it's shown publicly again.

6. Like, follow, share, and report

Heart a message you love, follow a place to get an email the first time a new message is approved there, share a message's link, or report one for a moderator to take another look at.

7. Change the language

Use the language switcher in the top bar to read and write in your preferred language. Your choice is remembered for next time.

8. Install it on your phone

This site works as an app: use "Add to Home Screen" (or the install prompt on the home page) to launch it like any other app, with an icon on your home screen.

9. Manage your account

Update your display name or change your password any time from Account settings, linked from "My messages."
